The Iranian education system in general and the curriculum system in general is governed by a centralized decision-making process . Decentralization is one of the important issues of education in the present era with different views in this field in the Iranian educational system . Some believe that the centralized design of the curriculum cannot It responds to needs changes and points to shortcomings, so there needs to be a curriculum in place where teachers play a more important role. School-based curriculum is based on the fact that the best place to design a curriculum is where the teacher and student interact the most. So this kind of curriculum is better than the common centralized curriculum that considers teachers to be merely course administrators and students believe that learning is more relevant to their needs, the curriculum is flexible, and emerging issues are well integrated into the curriculum. In this paper, the aim of achieving the fundamental transformation document indicators in achieving school-centered achievement as a key element of this document and based on Studies carried out at home and abroad, the role of school-based curriculum in decentralizing curriculum design is investigated and suggestions are presented to achieve this element.
