COVID-19 has turned schooling into a universal large-scale experiment. We are at a defining moment for the world’s children and young people. Now we face a generational catastrophe that could waste untold human potential, undermine decades of progress, and exacerbate entrenched inequalities. COVID-19 has brought many existing patterns and trends to the surface. While some believe that the unplanned and rapid move to online learning – with no training, insufficient bandwidth, and little preparation – will result in a poor user experience that is unconducive to sustained growth, others believe that a new hybrid model of education will emerge, with significant benefits. Also, after Corona, traditional learning and e-learning can be used in combination.Some also believe that teachers can potentially have the greatest impact on reducing gaps in academic achievement.
