Abstract
Background and Aim: Strengthening the culture of parents' involvement in children’s education based on new educational approaches is one of the signs of an efficient educational system. The current research was conducted with the aim of discover the components, developing and validating of the educational package for the involvement of family in education of gifted children based on the hybrid homeschooling approach. Methods: The current research was qualitative and grounded theory. The research area includes 42 books and articles (2000-2023) related to parents' involvement and homeschooling approach, and the participants in the research were 10 experts in educational sciences and psychology in the city of Isfahan in 2022. The purposeful sampling method was chosen. Data collection and semi-structured interviews were used. Data analysis was done based on the model of Strauss and Corbin (1998) and three stages of open coding, central coding and selective coding. Results: The training package was developed in twelve sessions and four main sections under the titles of Progressing on the Path of Coaching My Child at Home, Requirements for Progressing on the Path of Coaching My Child at Home, Common Programs for Coaching My Child at Home, and Pleasures and Challenges of Coaching My Child at Home. To validate it, in addition to using the face validity method, the content validity method was used in a qualitative and quantitative manner with a panel of 10 experts, and two relative coefficients of content validity and content validity index were used. The content validity index for the entire training package was 0.80. Conclusion: The results showed that the educational package "on the path of coaching my child at home" benefits from appropriate form and content validity and has the necessary validity for educational applications and research use.
