English

The present research was conducted with the aim of predicting academic well-being and self-directed learning based on the use of self-regulation strategies in students. The research method was descriptive-correlation. The statistical population of the research included primary school in Karaj city in the academic year 1402-1403. The sample size was estimated to be 384 people based on Cochran's formula. The method of cluster sampling was staged. To collect research data, Tominin-Sweeney et al.'s standard academic well-being questionnaires (2012), Cheng et al.'s (2010) self-directed learning, and Bouffard's (1995) self-regulation questionnaires were used. Descriptive statistics indices and methods were used to obtain frequency, percentage, average, standard deviation, and then inferential statistics were used to obtain Pearson's correlation coefficient and regression analysis using spss version 26 software. The research findings showed that academic well-being and self-directed learning can be predicted based on self-regulation in students, and the correlation coefficient between self-regulation with academic well-being (r=0.504) and with self-directed learning (r=0.815) is positive and direct. It is statistically significant (P = 0.01).Therefore, according to the findings of the research, it is suggested: school teachers should teach students to use self-regulation learning strategies based on a specific program so that they can guide and monitor their learning activities by using these strategies. and school become interested.
