One of the most important issues in the philosophy of education and in the activities of educational philosophers is what is the philosophical basis of teaching and learning methods and whether the methods in the paradigm of educational philosophy are influenced by the assumptions of other philosophical schools or No? Therefore, familiarity with philosophical views and schools and the application of its results in education is useful because it can accelerate the achievement of educational goals, create awareness and a critical spirit towards educational policies and planning, and It is desirable. Since educational management today has an undeniable effect on the growth and development of the educational system more than ever and pragmatism is more effective than other philosophies in this field, it is necessary and useful to study how this effect is from different aspects. Therefore, the present article aims to investigate educational management in the perspective of pragmatism by descriptive-analytical method. The results of the research indicate that pragmatism, by applying the criteria of efficiency and usefulness, has been able to bring the flow of education closer to real life and thus overshadow the educational management. And eliminate many inconsistencies between science and practice, the school and the social environment outside it, the individual and society, discipline and freedom, as well as means and ends. Also, pragmatic management was more consistent with the contingency theory of management than other theories.
