[English]

Abstract
Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between job stress and prayer for nursing students in Tehran in 1399.
Method: The method of this research is descriptive-correlational. The statistical population was 123 nursing students who were selected by convenience sampling. The research instruments included the job stress questionnaire of Shokla and Srivastava (2016) and the self-assessment questionnaire of practical commitment to Navid religious beliefs (2010). Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression analysis using SPSS software version 23.
Results: The results showed that there is a significant relationship between praying and job stress. Praying reduces job stress. Regression results also showed that praying by 30% can predict job stress.
Conclusion: Based on this, it can be concluded that by strengthening prayer and effective programs in people's tendency to pray, nurses' job stress can be reduced.
