Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effectiveness of the neuro-transformational enrichment program on the creative thinking of gifted students. The research design was a quasi-experimental pre-test-post-test with a two-month follow-up and a control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all gifted students aged 7 to 10 in Tehran in 1402-1403, of which 30 students were selected as a sample based on the inclusion criteria and were randomly assigned to the experimental group of the neuro-transformational enrichment program (15 people) and the control group (15 people). The measurement tools were the visual form of the Torrance Creative Thinking Test (1998) and the Wechsler Children's Intelligence Scale (Fifth Edition). The results showed that there was a significant difference between the increase in creative thinking and its components in gifted students in the two training and control groups after the neuro-transformational enrichment program, and the neuro-transformational enrichment program was effective on creative thinking and its components in gifted students. Therefore, considering the importance of the neuro-transformational enrichment program in the learning of gifted students, it is suggested that workshops and training sessions based on this educational program be held for elementary school teachers and administrators to provide the necessary basis for its implementation in more schools.
