Abstract
Background and Aim: The aim of the research was the effectiveness of therapy based on acceptance and commitment on the reconstruction of communication beliefs and sexual performance of married women.Methods: group. The statistical population included all married women with marital problems referring to counseling centers.Sampling was purposeful in that 30 women were selected by means of research questionnaires and were randomly divided into two control (15) and experimental (15) groups.Treatment based on acceptance and commitment was presented to women in 8 sessions of 90 minutes.The measurement tools were Epstein and Idelson's communication beliefs questionnaire (1981) and Rosen et al.'s (2000) women's sexual performance questionnaire. The data was analyzed by SPSS 23 software and analyzed at two descriptive (mean, standard deviation) and inferential (Levin-Shapiro Wilcovariance) levels .Results: The results showed that the therapy based on acceptance and commitment had a significant effect on the reconstruction of communication beliefs and sexual performance of married women, and the therapy based on acceptance and commitment had a significant relationship on the dimensions of reconstruction of communication beliefs and sexual performance (P<.01). Conclusion: According to the obtained results, it seems that treatment based on acceptance and commitment will be used in couples and women's sexual problems.
