Abstract
Background andAim:Gamification, as a new and attractive approach has been able to attract a lot of attention in various fields.The use ofgame elements insports activities not only increases students motivation to participate inphysical activities,but also helps them to function more effectivelyin society by strengthening social interactions and developing cooperation skills.Therefore,the aim ofthe current research was to investigate the effectiveness of physical activity basedon gamification on increasing individual well-being and social adjustment of students.

Methods:The research method used in this study is quantitative and semi-experimentalwhich included a pre-test and post-test design with control and experimental groups.The statistical population of this research included male students of the second year of high school inEastAzarbaijanprovince inthe academic year of1402-1403.Sampling was done using the accessible method, including the control group and the experimental group each group consisting of 25 people and placed inthe groups by asimple random method.Data collection tools included the standard questionnaires and well-being.The validity of these questionnaires has been confirmed by three prominent professors ofsports management and their reliability has been evaluated as acceptable.Forthe current situationdescriptive findings(mean and deviation)andShapiro-Wilk's linear tests,two-wayANOVAand Bonferroni's post hoc tests were used at the significance level(p<0.05)usingSPSS 26software to analyze the data.

Results:Investigations showed that time and group factors, along with the interaction between timeand group,had significant effects on the variable components of individual well-being and social adjustment of students.

Conclusion:According to the results obtained from the research,it can be concluded that the integration ofsports exercises with gamification significantly increases the individual well-being and social adaptation of students.
