Abstract
Introduction: A systematic review can be very useful if it is conducted as a meta-analysis. In a general sense, meta-analysis is defined as the generation and synthesis of information from primary studies. A proper systematic review on a topic requires the collection and analysis of all published data.

Methodology: In this research, the electronic search strategy by researchers with the approach of case studies of the application of meta-analysis in the field of psychology, especially clinical psychology and training sciences, with the keywords of systematic review, meta-analysis, prism and research subject, research methodology and evaluation of benefits and challenges. has been placed.

Findings: In order to improve their level of knowledge in the desired fields, experts in different fields review regular review articles and meta-analysis, and many researchers and even organizations take advantage of them due to the high credibility of these articles. . This is in a situation as much as the correct use of this technique can be useful, productive and reliable, the incorrect procedure of using this technique may cause misguidance and promotion of wrong findings among researchers.

Conclusion: This method is one of the most important methods to prove the assumptions (based on past studies) of the problem that can be raised in the research. such as distortion risk, random error, design risks, unreliable primary data, etc.
