The effect of game based teaching methods on students' academic achievement

Abstract
Today, children's play is a phenomenon that has seriously attracted the attention of educators and specialists in this field and psychologists, educators and parents. In such a way that a large part of research and activities of specialists is focused on children's play. On the other hand, those involved in continuing education have been looking to produce and use active and new teaching methods. In the present study, the effect of game-based teaching methods on students' academic achievement is studied. Descriptive-analytical method has been used. The information needed to compile this research has been collected through library documents and research reports. The results of the study indicate that the use of games appropriate to the child's cognitive development conditions fosters a spirit of cooperation and collaboration among children, the emergence of constructive moral virtues in children, a sense of independence and pride, better learning curriculum, educational tasks, physical development. And children's emotional and mental development of children's creativity and better relationships with others, personality stability, children's responsibilities in the future community. Therefore, respected educators and teachers are advised not to neglect to pay attention to educational games.
