The present study examines the trends of spiritual health on the psychological well-being of students at the North Tehran Branch of the Azad University in 1399. This study was descriptive-correlational. The statistical population consisted of 200 students of Azad University, North Tehran Branch, Faculty of Psychology who were eligible to participate in the study, were selected using available sampling method and psychological well-being questionnaires (Keys and Magyarmo, 2003), spiritual health trends (Allison and Poltzin, 1982) responded. Research data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient and regression.
The results of this analysis showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables of spiritual health and psychological well-being (p <0.05). Spirituality and religiosity can be useful as positive strategies to increase meaning in life, hope and social interactions in people, as well as to deal with psychological illnesses such as depression, loneliness. The results also showed that about 5% of psychological well-being is predicted based on students' spirituality.
