The purpose of this study was to investigate the role of goal orientation on the creative self-efficacy of elementary school students in Islamabad. This research is an applied and descriptive correlational one in terms of purpose. The statistical population of this study was all female students of sixth grade elementary school in Islamabad in the school year of 99-98. They were selected by cluster sampling method. The tools used in the research were creative self-efficacy questionnaires, goal orientation. Regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The results showed that there is a relationship between creative self-efficacy and goal orientation and of the goal orientation components, the goal-oriented component of performance predicts creative self-efficacy.
